Closed Circuit TV (CCTV)

Physical security had come a long way from just lock and key protection. Surveillance by security guards is not sufficient enough as humans are prone for error and fatigue factor. With the advent of digital age, physical surveillance moved many notch up in synergizing smart technological innovation with conventional knowledge. While there are many electronic means to control unauthorized access, only means to watch over the premises (indoor/outdoor) 24/7 is through closed circuit TV. Otherwise known as surveillance camera is the most reliable means to protect the assets and resources. IT infrastructure security and compliance follows international standards stipulated by ISO27001. Isailaksh follows these standards in designing, deploying and maintaining a CCTV system for all kinds of organizations. Our expert team also has the capability of customizing the solution based on industry specific standards as well, like Banking finance, Manufacturing, IT and ITES, Health industry, to name a few.

Synchronous Digital Hierarchy

Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) refer to a group of fiber-optic transmission rates that can transport digital signals with different capacities. To support a range of services, SDH includes a management layer whose communications are transported within dedicated data communications channel (DCC) time slots interface rate. Better transmission quality, enormous routing flexibility and support for facilities such as path self-heading are few among many features that helps the management achieve reduced cost and enhanced network services.

Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy

Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) is the technology that has been in use since before introduction of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (Plesiochronous implies almost synchronous). It provides a means to transport large quantity of data via digital equipment such as radio wave systems, fiber optic and microwaves. PDH employs stuffing bits or justification bits to reconstruct data streams. This technology also deploy Frame Alignment Word (FAW) as a synchronization technique.

Multiplexer (MUX)

A multiplexer is a circuit that accept many input and gives out only one output. It is used to select and route any one of the several input signals to a signal output. They are used to perform high speed switching in electronic components. Multiplexer can handle both analog and digital data. For analog application relay switches are used, whereas for digital application they are built from standard logic gates. Multiplexer considerable enhances the efficiency of communication system. It allows transmitting different type of data such as audio, video at the same time using single transmission line.

Optical Line Terminal

Optical Line Terminal (OLT) is an end point hardware device in passive optical network. The OLT contains CPU, passive optical network cards, a gateway router (GWR) and a voice gateway (VGW) uplink cards. It can transmit a data signal to users at 1490 nanometers. That signal can serve up to 128 ONTs at a range of up to 12.5 miles by using optical splitters. OLT is generally employed for terminal connected to the fiber backbone. An OLT has two primary functions (i) Converting standard signals use by a FiOS service provider to the frequency and framing used by PON system (ii) Coordinating the multiplexing between the conversion devices on the optical network terminals (OLT) located on the customer’s premises.
